Japan Tech Indonesia 2025: Paving The Way for Japan & Indonesia IT Collaboration

300 IT professionals in attendance; 8 leading Japanese exhibitors showcase innovations; B2B panel reveals go-to-market strategies in Southeast Asia

Jakarta, 23 October 2025 — Japan Tech Indonesia 2025 officially concluded on 21 October 2025 at Ciputra Artpreneur, Jakarta, marking a major milestone in fostering collaboration between the IT industries of Japan and Indonesia. The event brought together cutting-edge technology solutions from Japan and the growing needs of the Indonesian market, opening doors for partnerships and wider product adoption across various sectors in Southeast Asia.

More than 300 IT professionals—including founders, CEOs, and department heads—participated in the exhibition, product demos, and interactive Q&A sessions at exhibitor booths. The enthusiasm was evident as participants engaged in technical and business discussions focused on operational efficiency, security, and accelerating digital transformation in Indonesian businesses.

At the exhibition area, 8 exhibitors presented their innovations: Asuene, Kintone, giftee, Josys, HENNGE, Cacco, MICHIRU, and Softbrain. The exhibitors expressed optimism that their pioneering products, successfully implemented in Japan, could contribute to advancing Indonesia’s industry through effective collaboration and localization strategies.

In addition, the main stage hosted a B2B panel discussion on go-to-market strategies with experts from Japan: Yuiichiro Sasaki (RevComm) and Harutoshi Tanaka (Mekari). They shared valuable insights on the challenges and opportunities of entering the Indonesian market, including the importance of educating customers, strengthening partner ecosystems, and focusing on customer success as a driver for retention.

“Our mission is simple: to bridge Japanese innovation with the real business needs in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. The enthusiasm from 300 participants and the in-depth project discussions clearly show the vast potential for collaboration moving forward,” said Ferry Bayu, CEO of VRIGroup, in his opening remarks. “Post-event, we will follow up with matchmaking business opportunities and prepare for a larger edition with more curated exhibitors from Japan.”

The success of this event was further supported by official partners: e27, Pocketalk—which provided live transcription to enrich the conference experience—Tech in Asia, Prominent PR, MiiTel (RevComm), and Mekari.
