ASUENE Hosts Climate AI Session for Students from NUS Business School, Asia’s Top Business School

ASUENE Inc. conducted a special lecture on decarbonisation management, AI utilisation, and global business expansion for 36 students from the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School on May 14, 2026.

The session was held as part of “Bizad Abroad 2026,” an overseas field study trip organised by NUS Students’ Business Club (Bizad Club), part of NUS Business School. As a Japan-born climate AI tech company, ASUENE introduced its initiatives in AI-powered carbon accounting, ESG management support, and international business expansion across Asia and the United States. During the session, students and company representatives engaged in active discussions on the rapidly growing Green Transformation (GX) and ESG markets, as well as management strategies that integrate sustainability with business growth.

Background of the Lecture for NUS Business School Students

As climate change response and sustainability disclosure requirements continue to gain importance worldwide, companies are increasingly expected to measure and reduce GHG emissions across their entire supply chains. In addition to tightening ESG-related regulations in Europe, interest in green transformation investment and AI-driven decarbonization management is also accelerating across Asia.

Against this backdrop, “Bizad Abroad 2026,” an overseas field study trip organised by NUS Business School’s Bizad Club, explores the theme of “Dynamism,” focusing on how companies adapt to rapidly changing global environments while continuing to grow and address social challenges.

ASUENE operates globally as a Japan-born climate AI tech company providing AI-powered carbon accounting and ESG management solutions. Through this lecture, the company shared practical insights into balancing decarbonization with business growth, as well as real-world examples of climate tech initiatives in global markets.

Lecture Overview

On the day of the event, 36 students from NUS Business School visited ASUENE’s office for lectures and discussions focused on decarbonisation management and climate tech.

The session covered topics including the rapidly expanding decarbonisation and ESG markets, sustainability regulations affecting Japanese companies, and the latest examples of AI-driven sustainability management. ASUENE also introduced its GHG measurement, reduction, and reporting cloud service “ASUENE,” as well as its supply chain management platform “ASUENE SUPPLY CHAIN,” highlighting client support initiatives and the company’s global expansion efforts.

The discussion further explored how companies can position sustainability initiatives not merely as compliance costs, but as drivers of competitiveness and long-term business growth. The Q&A session featured active engagement and discussion between students and company representatives.

Students who attended the lecture shared comments including:

・“Considering the impact of GHG emissions and global warming, I felt this is one of the most important issues companies need to address going forward.”

・“During this trip, we visited several Japanese companies, and it was fascinating and inspiring to see how seriously they are working toward decarbonization and achieving net zero.”

・“I became interested in joining ASUENE. Perhaps in the future, some of us may even be working at the company’s Singapore office.”

ASUENE will continue to promote knowledge-sharing on sustainability management through collaboration with universities and companies around the world, while further strengthening its global expansion as a Japan-born climate AI tech company.
