Kuala Lumpur, April 10, 2026 – Astrovision Global FZCO successfully hosted an Advisors–Media Interactive Session on April 10, 2026, in anticipation of the upcoming Food Show Malaysia Expo 2026, an international exhibition focused on the food & beverage and packaging sectors.
The highly anticipated expo is scheduled to take place from April 14–16, 2026, at Hall No. 4, World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, bringing together key stakeholders from across the global food ecosystem.
Speaking to members of the media, Dr. Ahmad Fareed Ismail, CDTP, Senior Lecturer at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Honorary Secretary of The Malaysian Food and Beverage Executives Association (M.F.B.E.A), highlighted the transformative phase currently shaping the food and beverage industry.
“The food and beverage industry today stands at a highly exciting yet transformative stage. Shifting consumer preferences, technological advancements, sustainability demands, and evolving global supply chains are reshaping how we produce, distribute, and consume food. Platforms like Food Show Malaysia 2026 offer an ideal opportunity for stakeholders to come together, exchange ideas, and explore innovative solutions to address these emerging challenges,” he said.
He further noted that the exhibition goes beyond a traditional trade showcase:

It brings together manufacturers, distributors, retailers, technology providers, and industry professionals under one roof, fostering collaboration that drives growth and resilience in the sector.”
Emphasizing the strategic importance of the event, organizers stated that the expo aims to strengthen international trade, enhance sourcing opportunities, and build meaningful partnerships across the global food and beverage ecosystem.
Adding a culinary perspective, Chef Shanmugam Rajoo, Director and Culinary Head, and President of SKY Culinary Solution Malaysia – Chefs Club, shared his message virtually during the session, highlighting the evolving Malaysian food landscape:
“The Renaissance of Malaysian Culinary Revolution reflects both the revival of traditional flavors and the exciting innovation taking place across the food scene—modern techniques, global influences, and elevated local cuisine all coming together.”
The exhibition is supported by the ASEAN India Economic Council (AIEC) and MIBC. The ongoing support and strong leadership of Dato’ Ramesh Kodammal, Chairman of Goldtex Group of Companies and Chairman of AIEC Malaysia, have significantly contributed to the organization of this expo.
