Asuene has signed a partnership agreement with Banpu NEXT, a leading net zero solutions provider in the Asia-Pacific region, engaged in renewable energy businesses.

Through this partnership, both companies will collaborate to introduce Asuene’s carbon emissions measuring, reducing, and reporting cloud service, “ASUENE”, primarily among Thai companies. This partnership aims to contribute to achieving Thailand’s national decarbonization goals.

Thailand’s Decarbonization Goals

The Thai government has set ambitious decarbonization targets, aiming to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and net-zero emissions by 2065.

Meanwhile, Thailand has a high concentration of manufacturing supply chains, which account for a significant portion of the country’s carbon emissions. As a global trend, major manufacturers are requiring their suppliers to reduce emissions. 

Companies are now expected to measure and reduce carbon emissions across the entire supply chain, making the adoption of effective decarbonization solutions an urgent priority.

Details of the Partnership

“ASUENE” provides a carbon accounting platform for companies and local governments across their entire supply chains, in accordance with the GHG Protocol’s Scope 1-3. Additionally, we also provide sustainability consulting services. In November 2024, Asuene established a Thai subsidiary to support Japanese companies’ local operations in Thailand with Scope 3 emissions calculations, as well as calculation and reporting assistance for local companies.

Through this partnership agreement, both companies will strengthen their collaboration in customer referrals and actively promote measuring and reducing carbon emissions, supporting companies in their journey toward achieving net-zero emissions.
