The Supreme Court of the Philippines assesses Anycase.ai, an AI-powered legal research app for Philippine lawyers<\/p>\n
Manila, Philippines (July 17, 2024)<\/b> \u2013 Anycase.ai is an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered legal research platform used by thousands of Filipino lawyers and legal professionals. On July 11, 2024, the company met with the Supreme Court (SC) of the Philippines to kick-off a potential partnership that would enable AI-powered legal technology adoption across courts and judicial offices nationwide.<\/p>\n
The company has entered an assessment period with the Supreme Court. Select Court Attorneys, officers, and legal researchers have gained access to the platform and, based on real-world use, will provide their feedback and recommendations regarding the viability of the partnership. Additionally, metrics were set to objectively measure the quality of Anycase.ai\u2019s AI output following SC standards.<\/p>\n
The Anycase.ai platform includes a legal library of 90,000 laws and jurisprudence (and growing), an advanced search engine, and a suite of cutting-edge AI features. The company is proud to share that these features help their customers finish legal research tasks 75% faster when compared to alternative platforms and research methods. What\u2019s more, this was achieved by a legal technology company that is less than one year old.<\/p>\n
This collaboration aligns with the Supreme Court\u2019s Strategic Plan for Judicial Innovations (SPJI) 2022-2027; a roadmap of wide-ranging improvements across efficiency, innovation, and access in the Courts. Among other innovations, artificial intelligence – along with its compelling promise of efficiency gains – is an ongoing area of exploration for the SC.
